Visit Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead:
Deanna Rose is becoming more and more popular each year. It has so many fun activities for kids such as a fishing pond, pony rides, feeding the cows, one room school house, and so many animals!

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, The Farmstead is open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This is a large berry patch where you can pick several types of produce,. I took my daughter blueberry picking here. There were blueberries for days!

Discover, Create, and Play at The Discovery Center:
The Discovery Center is about an hour drive from Kansas City, but in my opinion it is worth the drive! It features several creation stations inside, and a great outdoor play area complete with a pond, treehouse, bikes and tricycles! It is great for children of all ages!
